All BTS Enters the Army... "This Song" has started to climb the charts

"Spring Day," a hit song by the band BTS six years ago, is continuing to climb the charts with its members joining the military. It also topped iTunes' Top Song chart in 83 countries worldwide.

According to the agency Big Hit Music on the 14th, the song topped the iTunes 'Top Song' chart in the United States, Japan, the United Kingdom, and France from the 12th to 8 a.m. on the same day.

Big Hit Music explained, "Carol is strong for the end of the year in many countries, and Spring Day has topped Mariah Carey's mega hit "All I Want for Christmas Is You."

"Spring Day" is the title song of "Wings Outside: New Never Work Alone" released by BTS in 2017.

It means not to lose hope by going to a meeting with a friend who is moving away. Members RM and Suga participated in the composition.

Big Hit Music analyzed that as all BTS entered a military hiatus, ARMY's (BTS fandom) desire to resume team activities in 2025 led to a rise in the chart rankings.

 

Meanwhile, RM and V started their military service on Wednesday. "It must have been much harder than us, with Jin (Jin) and Hoseok (J-Hope) following us," RM said on the fandom platform Weverse. "It was Romang. Shaved hair and sunglasses. I wanted to try it someday, but that's great." V also said on Weverse Live, "I'm excited to see my friends (in the military) but I'll be able to gain newness by talking to them.“

On the 12th, Jimin and Jungkook joined the army together. Jimin said on Weverse Live, "I'll do a great job. I'll be back safely. I thought I had to go quickly, but after I cut my hair, I realized it."

Jungkook also said, "It has been a very busy life. Thanks to you, I am doing happy activities," adding, "I think the military is a place that any man should go."

BTS started with the eldest brother Jin in December last year, and J-Hope joined the army in April this year. Suga has been working as a social service worker since September. Jin, who joined the army first, reported that he was recently promoted to sergeant.
