BTS Confirms June 10, 2022 Comeback With A New Album
The group BTS successfully wrapped up its Las Vegas concert with 200,000 ARMYs.
BTS met about 200,000 ARMYs through the "BTS Permission to Dance on Stage," a four-day concert held at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
According to Allegiant Stadium, BTS is the only musician who has performed solo performances four times and mobilized 200,000 people
through four performances.
The last day's performance, which was also broadcast live online, was watched by about 402,000 people in 182 countries and regions, and the
number of viewers of the event "Live Play" who can watch the performance live through a large screen installed at MGM Grand Garden Arena was
counted as 22,000.
The tour series "BTS Permission to Dance on Stage," which began with an online concert in October last year, was held a total of 12 times, following
Los Angeles and Seoul, and Las Vegas. According to his agency Big Hit Music, the cumulative number of audiences who watched
the concert in various ways, including face-to-face performances, online live streaming, live viewing, and live play, exceeded 4 million.
As face-to-face performances were not possible for two years due to the pandemic situation of COVID-19, the concert, which was held in Las Vegas,
focused on the meeting with the audience itself, just like the previous performances in Los Angeles and Seoul.
It was a sincere performance by BTS, who filled the setlist with only group songs that the seven members could do without solo and unit songs,
along with stage production that minimizes props and devices to focus fully on the songs and performances of the seven members on stage.
In particular, a new attempt called "TEH CITY" project that connects tours and cities was added, giving the audience a richer experience. Fans enjoyed Las Vegas and BTS with a variety of programs, including a pop-up store where Las Vegas limited products are sold, a photo exhibition where you can see the preparation process and backstage of the Seoul concert in March, themes, rooms, and after parties.
In the fourth performance held on the 16th (local time), BTS's surprise gift for fans around the world was also unveiled. At the end of the concert,
fans around the world who watched through the large screen of the concert hall, "live play," and online live streaming announced the release
of the new album.
Along with the video of BTS's past to recent moments, the dates of "WARE BULLETPROF" and "June 10, 2022" were also specified. As the news of the release of the new album was announced at the end of the concert, fans responded enthusiastically not only offline but also online.
