The donation will be used to purchase blankets, mattresses and school supplies for children needed in southern Turkiye and northern Syria. 

Last year, Sugar donated 100 million won to recover from forest fires on the east coast of Gangwon and Gyeongsangbuk-do, Korea, and in 2021, he donated 100 million won to Seongseo Dongsan Hospital at Keimyung University in Daegu, Suga's hometown, to treat childhood cancer patients.

In 2020, he donated 100 million won to the National Disaster Relief Association for those suffering from the spread of COVID-19, and in 2019, he continued his good deeds by donating 100 million won and 329 dolls to the Korea Pediatric Cancer Foundation under the name of the fan club "ARMY."
